Cookie Policy

Last updated: 24 July 2026

This policy explains what Sentinay puts on your device when you visit sentinay.com, why, and how to stop it. Read it alongside our Privacy Policy.

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies - local storage and tracking pixels - do much the same job, and this policy covers those too.

1. What We Use

We keep this deliberately short. There is no advertising network following you around this site, and we set nothing at all beyond the following.

a) Strictly necessary

Needed for the site to work. These do not require your consent and cannot be turned off within the site.

  • Security and delivery - set by our host, Vercel, to serve pages and protect against abuse
  • Your cookie choice - remembers whether you accepted or declined, so we do not ask again on every page

b) Advertising and measurement

Set only if you accept them. We advertise on Facebook and Instagram, and these tell us which adverts actually lead to enquiries.

  • Meta Pixel (_fbp, and _fbc if you arrive from a Facebook advert) - identifies your browser so Meta can report that an advert led to a website request. Our server also sends Meta a matching record of any enquiry, with your email and phone number hashed first so Meta never receives them in readable form. See Meta's Privacy Policy.

c) Third-party embeds

  • Calendly - our booking page embeds Calendly's scheduling widget, which sets its own cookies when it loads. This only affects the booking page. See Calendly's Privacy Policy.

We do not use Google Analytics and we do not run any other advertising or analytics service on this site.

2. Your Consent

We ask before setting anything that is not strictly necessary. Declining costs you nothing - the site works exactly the same either way, and you will not be asked repeatedly.

To change your mind, clear this site's cookies in your browser and the banner will appear again on your next visit.

3. Managing Cookies in Your Browser

Every major browser lets you view, delete and block cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working.

  • Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Third-party cookies
  • Safari: Settings > Privacy
  • Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
  • Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions

You can also limit how adverts are targeted to you in your Facebook ad preferences.

4. How Long They Last

  • Session cookies - deleted when you close your browser
  • Your cookie choice - kept for 12 months so we do not keep asking
  • Meta Pixel (_fbp, _fbc) - set by Meta for up to 90 days

5. Updates and Contact

If we add or remove anything we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above. Questions about any of it: tom@sentinay.com.
